Hull Rupture’s public build has changed significantly since the April announcement. The biggest shift came on September 14, 2026, when Hull Construction replaced the old shipyard expansion and themed loot boxes replaced individual shop kits. If you learned the game before that date, some of your instincts are now wrong.
Latest state: October 30, 2026
The demo is on build v0.10.12 (September 25 patch) with the September 14 overhaul underneath. The game is scheduled for its November 4 release. The most recent developer post is the October 22 Hull Construction deep dive, which clarifies how blocks, adjacency, stilts and boss routes work.
Read the construction post first
If you are returning after a break, the October 22 deep dive is the most important update. It explains why your old shipyard plan no longer applies and how the 15-block system changes enemy routing.

What changes at launch
The November 4 release is expected to add the full ship and mode roster, rebalance Endless mode as a separate experience, and continue performance work. The store promises three ships, six modes and four difficulty levels. The demo’s one ship and two modes are not the final scope.
We will update this page when the release build is live. Until then, treat demo-specific numbers and shop odds as provisional. The strategic principles — momentum, adjacency, layered defense, buy for the next problem — are much more likely to survive the patch than any exact value.
Old guides may be outdated
If a guide tells you to wait for a shipyard to expand, buy individual module kits, or rely on an Airlock army, it predates the September overhaul. Use the current construction guide and the current shop guide instead.
